We began our filming at the former "Fried Chicken Capital of the World," Gordonsville, Virginia. The festival celebrates the "waiter carriers" that made the town famous in the late 1800s and provides an a glimpse into one of the countless ways that fried chicken is "more than just a dish" in the American story.
